The kids enjoyed the homemade breakfast, and it was a nice touch to see the paddock ready for our horses. The surrounding area is perfect for family adventures like zip-lining and exploring the local breweries.
My wife says that additional activities for kids would be great.

The Queen Room exuded a warm historic charm with its inviting ambiance and comfortable 4-poster bed. Breakfast offered good gingerbread pancakes, and the outdoor dining area was lovely. There's a slight need for better cleanliness in some pet-friendly areas, though it didn't overshadow the overall experience.

An lovely stay with fantastic breakfasts!
We loved the cozy ambiance of the Library Room with an amazing bed that gave the feeling of sleeping on clouds. Every morning we enjoyed a amazing breakfast, with unique dishes like homemade scones and a delicious egg dish made from fresh ingredients right from the hotel. The cute hosts, Kit and Robin. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be for a few more seating options in the outdoor area for relaxation.

The Queen Room at Pheasant Field felt historic yet cozy. The 220-year-old charm combined with modern updates. The 4-poster bed provided a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast featured gingerbread pancakes that were a good treat. The owners, Robin and Kyle, were cute and quick to provide recommendations for restaurants in the area. The pet-friendly room had some surfaces with leftover dog hair, which could have been better cleaned. It didn't ruin my stay, but it's worth mentioning .
